A dedicated Intellectual Property Rights Cell was established in 2016 in collaboration with the Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST) and the Visvesvaraya Trade Promotion Centre (VTPC). The cell contributes to the responsible and ethical management of intellectual property assets and facilitates IPR activities within the campus, particularly in patents. Acharya has made significant strides in the realm of innovation and intellectual property proudly securing a total of 16 patents.
