Nursing students embarked on an enriching educational tour from 17th to 28th February 2025, exploring healthcare practices and cultural heritage in New Delhi, Agra, Amritsar, Kullu, and Manali. This journey not only deepened their understanding of real-world healthcare but also offered a vibrant cultural immersion.

Covering CPR, wound care, and emergency response techniques, the session equipped students with life-saving skills essential for real-world situations. Smt. Nagarathnamma College of Nursing’s 5th-semester students embarked on a transformative journey from Feb 2nd to 12th, 2025. From top hospitals in Agra, Delhi, and Amritsar to the scenic landscapes of Kullu-Manali, the tour blended healthcare exposure with cultural exploration.
Smt. Nagarathnamma Jayanti was celebrated with fervor at our college, beginning with a puja and Pushpanjali in honor of the revered figure. The celebrations continued with a cake-cutting ceremony, followed by meaningful community activities. Students and teachers conducted awareness sessions on good touch and bad touch for primary school children, introduced clown therapy as a pain-diversion technique, and held a handwashing demonstration to promote hygiene in the local community.
First-year GNM students conducted a School Health Programme as part of the Community Outreach initiative. Through height and weight assessments, they monitored children's growth and nutritional status while promoting health awareness. The well-organized event reinforced the importance of regular health check-ups in schools.

On May 16, 2024, from 10:30 am to 01:00 pm, a special event themed "Our Nurses, Our Future: The Economic Power of Care" was held at the ANR Auditorium. The Chief Guest was Dr. C R Rajendra, Former Director and Head of BIS. This celebration of International Nurses Day, observed globally on May 12, marks the anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birth. INC commemorates this day annually by producing and distributing International Nurses Day (IND) resources and evidence.
At RGUHS Best Body Physique & Powerlifting Single Zone, Mangalore, students from Smt. Nagarathnamma College of Nursing showcased remarkable achievements. Mohammed Asif secured the top spot, earning a Gold medal and Certificate, while Kevin Roney claimed the Runner-Up position, receiving a Silver medal and Certificate. Additionally, Adhithya G.
